To pass the subject, the student must have passed each part separately (examination of development questions, problem solving and work). For students who do not pass the subject in the ordinary call, the passed part will be saved for the 2nd opportunity call within the same academic year.

Continuous assessment.

It is the evaluation established by default and is described in the evaluation section of the subject with its respective percentages.

Overall evaluation (global evaluation):

Students may request to waive the continuous evaluation by informing the subject coordinator within the established period. In this case, students will be evaluated by the global evaluation procedure. The global evaluation of the subject includes an exam of questions to be developed on the theoretical syllabus of the subject with a percentage of 100%.

2nd chance evaluation:

The 2nd chance evaluation includes the same sections as the continuous or global evaluation (depending on which modality the student has taken, with the difference that, the work, if it has not been passed in the group (if done in said modality), it will be done in individual modality following the guidelines established by the coordinator of the subject.

Other comments:

It may be the case that a student obtains a grade of 5 out of 10 or higher in the continuous evaluation, taking into account the percentages of the evaluation tests; However, if the student fails any of the parts of the evaluation, the grade in the evaluation will be “fail” or “not pass”. In this case the grade that will be included in Sigma will be 4.5.

Students who do not want to follow the continuous evaluation must notify this in writing following the procedure established by the Faculty of Physiotherapy. Waiver of continuous evaluation must be done before the 5th week of teaching, which means that the global evaluation established in the subject will be assumed. Once continuous evaluation is waived, you will not have the right to it, nor to the considerations established therein.
