The course “Physical Activity and Sports in the Natural Environment and Their Didactics” is taught during the second semester of the second year of the Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences.
This course provides an overview of physical activities and sports carried out in natural environments. From a theoretical perspective, it examines the most relevant contemporary approaches and concepts related to this field, while from a practical perspective it introduces students to some of the most representative outdoor physical and sporting activities.
Furthermore, this course plays an important role within the curriculum of the degree programme offered at the Universidade de Vigo, as it represents the main opportunity for students to acquire the knowledge, procedures and teaching resources associated with physical activities and sports in the natural environment, which are considered essential in the education of graduates in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences.
