In view of the uncertain and unpredictable evolution of the health alert caused by COVID-19, Universidade de Vigo establishes an extraordinary planning that will be activated as soon as the administration and the institution itself determine it according to criteria of safety, health and responsibility, and guaranteeing teaching in a non-presential or partially presential contexts. These measures, already planned, guarantee the development of teaching in a more agile and efficient way, since it is known in advance (or a long time in advance) by students and teachers through the standardised and institutionalised tool of the teaching guides.
=== ADAPTED NORMALITY SCENARIO ===
This scenario is considered the general one for which this teaching guide is applied, with a degree of presence estimated as normal at the time prior to the pandemic.
=== ALTERNATIVE SCENARIO ===
An alternative scenario is foreseen for temporary situations limited by local restrictions derived from outbreaks, closes in centre of the city, for which presential teaching is not possible.
In such a situation, classes will be taught online through the Campus Remoto platform and assessment methodologies and systems will be maintained. Assessments will continue to be presential. Students will be informed of these changes sufficiently in advance.
As for the tutorials, these will be done in line and, in order to make a better organization, students must communicate to the teachers their desire to do a tutorial previously through an email or other mechanisms established for this purpose by the U. Vigo.
In exceptional cases in which a student justifies the existence of a situation that prevents him/her from following the subject in a normal way (for example, connectivity problems, problems of conciliation, etc.), the teacher may agree with the student to adapt the dates of the assessment tests, as well as the means to carry them out. In any case, the assessment systems will be maintained. |
