The assessment process with be continuous and
formative, taking into account all the stages of the internship. The assessment
system will take into account the following parameters: 1) The
professional supervisor’s assessment of the development of the internship
and of the degree of performance of each of the activities carried out. This
assessment will be numerical on a 0-10 scale.
2) The
academic supervisor’s assessment of the practicum report written by the
student at the end of the internship. This assessment will be numerical on a
0-10 scale. The report must satisfy the
following requirements: - its
length must be between 1,000 and 3,000 words, in free format; - it can be
written in English, Spanish or Galician; - it must
show writing and synthesis skills and report on the activities and tasks
carried out during the internship, the experience acquired, the most positive
aspects of the experience, the least satisfactory aspects which could be
improved, etc. - the
student must submit a printed copy to the academic supervisor on the date
agreed, which will be determined by the official submission of records (actas) calendar. 3) The
final grade will be proposed by the academic supervisor on the basis of the
professional supervisor’s assessment, which will correspond to up to 60 percent
of the final grade, and on the assessment of the student’s report, which will
count up to 40 percent of the final grade. The academic supervisor must submit
the final grade proposal to the Coordinator for ratification, if applicable,
and its inclusion in the transcript of records. |
