OTHER INDICATIONS ABOUT CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT-
In order to qualify for these percentages in the evaluation, all supervised projects, case studies, and their corresponding in-class presentations must be submitted.
-
Attendance to the course is mandatory. To be eligible for the assessment of the practical part of the course, it is essential to attend the practical sessions. Students with more than 25% unexcused absences will not be assessed.
-
The exam will only take place on the official dates approved by the school.
-
Students who, for justified reasons, cannot attend classes regularly must opt for the global assessment system.
-
Assignments submitted after the established deadline will not be assessed.
-
The evaluation system for the July/Final-Year call will be the same as for the regular term, with the exception that the practical tests (supervised projects and case studies) must be completed individually.
INDICATIONS ABOUT THE GLOBAL ASSESSMENT SYSTEM-
The global assessment system will apply to students who expressly renounce the continuous assessment system, which is the recommended method for this course.
-
This renunciation must be made within the first month of the course, following the protocol approved by the Faculty Board of Communication and after notifying the lecturer.
-
The global assessment system will consist of an official theoretical exam (30%), a practical exam including several exercises (20%), and the submission of the course projects to be completed individually (30%) and presented to the lecturer (20%).
-
Each part of the assessment must be passed separately in order to pass the course.
-
The global assessment tests will only be held on the official date approved by the school.
-
Project-based assignments will not be accepted after that official date.
-
No tutorial sessions will be offered that involve explanations of theoretical or practical content covered in class.
-
No additional materials will be provided beyond those uploaded to the Moovi e-learning platform for students who opt out of the continuous assessment system.
