  Description
Introductory activities Activities aimed at making contact with and gathering information about the students, as well as introducing the subject.
Lecturing Explanation of the most relevant contents of the subject by the lecturer.
Scientific events Attendance at activities organised by the Department of History, Art and Geography, the Faculty of History or Contemporary History Area.
Seminars Activity focused on individual or group work on a specific topic based on materials of different nature with the aim of delving into a selection of contents of special difficulty or relevance introduced or not in the lecture sessions.
Mentored work Work carried out individually or in groups by students oriented towards an approach to the instruments of information gathering and to the sources of the contemporary period or to the carrying out of individual or group monographic work based on specific bibliography. They must be assigned before the end of the first month of the term.
Autonomous problem solving Activities aimed at solving problems and/or exercises in the classroom related to the contents introduced in the lecture sessions that include the autonomous resolution of comments and compositions of historical texts, historical maps, analysis and interpretation of graphic, video and film materials, etc.
Problem solving Sessions oriented towards the posing of questions related to the subject in which students, under the supervision of the teacher and with their monitoring and guidance, must develop the ideal solutions for the resolution of the problem or exercise presented.
