=== EXCEPTIONAL PLANNING ===
Given the uncertain and unpredictable evolution of the health alert caused by COVID-19, the University of Vigo establishes an extraordinary planning that will be activated when the administrations and the institution itself determine it, considering safety, health and responsibility criteria both in distance and blended learning. These already planned measures guarantee, at the required time, the development of teaching in a more agile and effective way, as it is known in advance (or well in advance) by the students and teachers through the standardized tool.

===============================

1. COMBINED / BLENDED LEARNING PROGRAM

1.1. ADAPTATION OF METHODOLOGIES

1.1.1. LECTURING
If possible, lectures will take place face-to-face for all students. If not possible, lectures would be held at the usual hours using the resources of the Remote Campus, so that a part of the groups would be in the classroom and the remaining groups at home.

1.1.2. LABORATORY PRACTICAL
Whenever possible, laboratory practical will take place face-to-face using the protection elements recommended by the academic authorities (at least masks, although it would also be advisable to wear gloves).

1.1.3. SEMINARS
The same as lectures, seminars will take place face-to-face for all students whenever possible. If not possible, seminars would be held at the usual hours using the resources of the Remote Campus, so that a part of the groups would be in the classroom and the remaining groups at home.

1.1.4. STUDIES EXCURSION
Studies excursion will be postponed until the situation of the normal face-to-face teaching activity has been recovered.

1.1.5. MENTORED WORK
As an autonomous activity of the students, mentored work will be maintained as a teaching methodology. The members of the groups will be able to meet taking the appropriate precautions, or they will communicate through telematic means or using the resources of the Remote Campus. If possible, the works will be presented face-to-face. As an alternative, the resources of the Remote Campus would be used to make the presentations.

1.1.6. PROBLEM SOLVING
This activity, in which multiple-choice tests related to the subject are presented through the FAITIC platform for teledoaching, will not undergo changes.

1.2. ASSESSMENT

Assessment in the combined program will be similar to that of the face-to-face program. The exam for the assessment of the knowledge acquired through the lectures, laboratory practical and seminars will represent 60% of the final qualification. Mentored work (carried out in groups) will represent 20%, and problem solving (multiple-choice tests through the FAITIC platform) will score the remaining 20%. In the second edition, the students who request it previously may be evaluated with a single exam of the entire subject, which will score 100% of the qualification. The exams will be done face-to-face, unless the University of Vigo decides otherwise.

1.2.1. END OF THE COURSE
Assessment in the combined program will be similar to that of the face-to-face program.

1.2.2. EXAMINATION OF THE FIRST EDITION
Assessment at the end of the first four-month in the combined program will be similar to that of the face-to-face program.

1.2.3. EXAMINATION OF THE SECOND EDITION
Assessment for the second opportunity in the combined program will be similar to that of the face-to-face program. The students who request it previously may be evaluated with a single exam of the entire subject which will score 100% of the qualification.

1.3. PERSONALIZED ASSISTANCE

Personalized assistance will take place through the Remote Campus in the Professor’s virtual office (current room 464) during the sheduled hours, requesting an appointment by email (jcenteno@uvigo.es).

1.4. OTHER

Documentation and additional teaching materials (case studies, explanatory videos, audiovisual pills, etc.) will be provided to help achieve learning outcomes and the acquisition of the different competencies.

2. NON-FACE-TO-FACE / ONLINE PROGRAM

2.1. ADAPTATION OF METHODOLOGIES

2.1.1. LECTURING
Lectures will take place in online mode at the usual hours through Remote Campus, using the FAITIC platform for teledoaching as reinforcement.

2.1.2. LABORATORY PRACTICAL
The laboratory practical will take place in a non-face-to-face way through the Remote Campus and using audiovisual materials, both prepared by the Professor and available on the internet. The delivery of a report will be mandatory. Videos of laboratory determinations and trials of all the parameters and processes that are carried out in face-to-face teaching will be used for the teaching of practical classes, and the different results obtained will be assessed. These videos will be complemented by others from public platforms related to the manufacturing technologies for different products or derivatives.

2.1.3. SEMINARS
The seminars will take place in online mode at the usual hours, using the FAITIC platform and the resources of the Remote Campus.

2.1.4. STUDIES EXCURSION
Studies excursion will be postponed until the situation of the normal face-to-face teaching activity has been recovered.

2.1.5. MENTORED WORK
