FIRST OPPORTUNITY The student's final grade (CF) will be determined by taking into account the grade obtained during the continuous assessment (CE) tests and the grade obtained in the final exam (EF) test. The continuous assessment (EC) grade will have a weight of 60% and that of the final exam (EF) of 40%. In addition, in order to pass the subject, it is necessary to obtain a minimum grade of 3.5 in the final exam test. For students who do not follow the continuous assessment modality, the final grade (CF) is that of the written test of the final exam (EF). For students who follow the continuous assessment modality, the final grade (CF) is obtained according to the following expressions: If EF>= 3.5 then the final qualification is CF=EC*0.6 + EF*0.4 If EF < 3.5 then the final qualification is CF = EC*0.36 + EF*0.4 Examples: -EC=6 and EF=3. The final qualification is CF=6*0.36+3*0.4=3.4 (Suspenso) -EC=5 and EF=3.5. The final qualification is CF=5*0.6+3.5*0.4=4.4 (Suspenso) -EC=6 and EF=3.5. The final qualification is CF=6*0.6+3.5*0.4=5 (Aprobado) -EC=9 and EF=4. The final qualification is CF=9*0.6+4*0.4=7 (Notable) -EC=9 and EF=9. The final qualification is CF=9 (Sobresaliente) SECOND OPPORTUNITYNone of the grades obtained in the continuous assessment (EC) tests or in the 1st opportunity final exam (EF) will be saved for the 2nd opportunity call. The grade obtained in the 2nd opportunity final exam (EF) will represent up to 100% of the final grade of the course. ETHICAL COMMITMENTThe student is expected to present an adequate ethical behavior. In the event that an unethical behavior is detected (copying, plagiarism, use of unauthorized electronic devices, for example), it will be considered that the student does not meet the necessary requirements for passing the subject. Depending on the type of unethical behavior detected, it could be concluded that the student has not reached the competencies of the course. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the English translation of the subject guide. In the event of any conflict between the English and Spanish versions, the Spanish version shall prevail. |
