Other comments on the Evaluation

1. JANUARY ASSESSMENT

1.1. Continuous assessment

In the assessment in December/January, the evaluation will be carried out in accordance with the Assessment section in this syllabus. The evaluation tests will take place during the teaching period in in-person sessions, on dates announced in class and published on the e-learning platform.

The minimum score required in the average of the evaluation tests will be 5 points out of 10 to be able to pass the module. It is important to point out that, so that the marks of the partial tests can be weighted, the minimum mark in each test may not be less than 5/10 points.

Any student who takes the first partial test will have to continue through the continuous assessment system, taking the first test and then going on to the final assessment system not being possible (see 1.2.).

1.2. Final assessment

If a student does not wish to join the continuous assessment system, s/he must tell the teaching staff at the beginning of the semester (in the first two weeks). In this case, s/he will be assessed by means of a final exam, based on the contents of the subject, which will combine theoretical questions and practical exercises and whose score will constitute 100% of the final grade. This exam will take place during the exam period on the official date approved by the Faculty.

The choice of this assessment option in no case implies the loss of the right to attend classes but of the right to take the tests described in 1.1.

2. JUNE/JULY ASSESSMENT

In the assessment in June/July), the evaluation will be carried out by means of a single exam, based on all the contents of the module, which will combine theoretical questions and practical exercises and whose score will constitute 100% of the grade final. This exam will take place during the exam period on the official date approved by the Faculty.

Notes on evaluation

The evaluation will take into account not only the relevance and quality of the content of the answers, but also their linguistic and stylistic correctness. If this is not the case, the assessment test may result in Suspenso (Fail).

Total or partial copying or plagiarism in any type of assignment or test will lead to a 'Fail' final grade. Alleging ignorance of what plagiarism implies will not exempt students from their responsibility in this regard.

Visiting students ("incoming") in exchange programs with foreign universities who are interested in enrolling in this degree class must take into account the language and the language level of that course (B2.2 > C1 English).
