FIRST OPPORTUNITY (January): a) Continuous Assessment Modality Continuous assessment will be carried out during the teaching period of the course. In this modality, all tests are mandatory. Their contribution to the final grade is as follows: 1.- Continuous Assessment Tests (20% of the final course grade) 2.- Practice Reports (20% of the final course grade) 3.- Final Exam of the course (60% of the final course grade) To pass the course in the first official evaluation through continuous assessment, the student must achieve at least 40% in each of the components above. If the student fails to reach this minimum in any assessment or, even achieving it, does not obtain a minimum global grade of 5 out of 10, they will be considered to have failed the course and must attend the Second Opportunity (June/July). If the minimum is not met in any component and the total score exceeds 5, the recorded final grade will be 4.9. b) Global Assessment Modality Students who opt out of the continuous assessment methodology will be evaluated exclusively based on: 1.- Course Assignment (40% of the final grade) 2.- Final Exam (60% of the final grade) SECOND OPPORTUNITY (June/July): In the Second Opportunity, all students will be assessed following the guidelines of b) Global Assessment from the First Opportunity. Ethical Commitment:
Students are expected to demonstrate appropriate ethical behavior, as outlined in Articles 39, 40, 41, and 42 of the Regulations on evaluation, grading, and quality of teaching and learning, approved by the University Senate on April 18, 2023. In case of unethical behavior (copying, plagiarism, use of unauthorized electronic devices, etc.), the student will be deemed not to meet the necessary requirements to pass the course. In such case, the global grade for the current academic year will be fail (0.0). NOTICE:
