EVALUATION MODALITY CHOICE Students may choose to be evaluated through the continuous evaluation system, or alternatively opt for global evaluation. The default evaluation is continuous evaluation. Students must inform the teacher of their express resignation from the continuous evaluation system within the period established by the center for this purpose, attaching the covered and signed document authorized for this purpose. The choice of global evaluation implies the renunciation of the right to continue evaluating through the remaining continuous evaluation activities and the qualification obtained up to that moment in any of the tests that have already taken place.
CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT It is the evaluation system that is applied to students if they do not expressly renounce continuous evaluation. The following tests will be carried out throughout the course: - Self-assessment (5%): These are different self-assessment activities programmed on the Moovi platform for each of the subject topics.
- Tutored work (15%): Group work will be carried out under the supervision of the teacher. Attendance at the seminars is MANDATORY, so in order to obtain the score for the work, you must attend at least 80% of the sessions. If this minimum is not met, the grade for this test will be 0. Its delivery will be made on the Moovi platform.
- Development questions exam 1 (40%). It will be done during the theoretical class schedule. The date will be communicated through Moovi.
- Development question exam 2 (40%): This will be carried out on the same day as the official global evaluation date of the first opportunity.
2nd chance and End of career In the second evaluation opportunity, there will be a single exam that may include short questions and/or a multiple choice questionnaire. The maximum score that can be obtained in this exam is 0 points. The grades of the self-assessment activities or the supervised work will not be taken into account. The exam will be held on the same day as the official date of the second chance global evaluation.
OVERALL EVALUATION In case of express waiver of continuous evaluation, students will be evaluated through a single exam that will be 100% of the grade for the subject. Given the length of the test, students who take the global evaluation must have 3 hours to complete them from the official start time of the subject exam according to the official calendar. The dates and times of the global evaluation tests (first and second opportunity) are those specified in the evaluation test calendar approved by the Faculty Board for the 2024/25 academic year. In the event of a conflict or disparity between exam dates, those published on the faculty's website will prevail: https://fcom.uvigo.gal/publicidad-relaciones-publicas/exames-publicidade-e-relacions-publicas/
NOT PRESENTED Students who do not participate in the continuous evaluation or the global evaluation will appear in the minutes as "not presented."
NEXT COURSES If the subject is not passed in the 2024-25 academic year, the student must take it again, adapting to the teaching guide that is in force in the academic year in question and, therefore, will not retain any of the grades obtained in the present course, except in the case of the end of the degree.
RECOMMENDATIONS Information about the evaluation tests, their format, length, evaluation rubric and delivery channels will be detailed through the Moovi platform. It is the student's responsibility to be attentive to the information uploaded and collect the specific and complementary information that is necessary to pass the subject. Students are recommended to take into account Title VII (On the use of illicit means), of the Regulation on Evaluation, grading and quality of teaching and the student learning process: https://secretaria.uvigo.gal/uv/web/normativa/public/show/565 |
