Other comments on the Evaluation

1. CONTINIOUS EVALUATION*

Attendance to practical classes is mandatory, and attendance to theory classes and seminars will be positively valued, together with the last seminar of presentation of the tutored works (09/01/2025 12:00 to 14:00).

First ordinary call

To pass the subject it will be necessary to obtain a score of 5 out of 10 in the final theory exam (23/01/2025 10:00), and a minimum of 4.5 in the seminars and laboratory practicals. The practical work will represent 20% of the final mark. The activities to be handed in throughout the course will account for 20% of the final mark. The evaluation of the deliverables requires that all of them are delivered in due time and form in order to be evaluated (otherwise the deliverable will have a grade of 0).

Second ordinary call

To pass the subject it will be necessary to obtain a score higher than 5 out of 10 in the exam of the second call (08/07/2025 10:00), and a minimum of 4.5 in the seminars and laboratory practicals. The practical work will represent 20% of the final mark.  The activities to be handed in throughout the course will account for 20% of the final mark. The evaluation of the deliverables requires that all of them are delivered in due time and form in order to be evaluated (otherwise the deliverable will have a grade of 0).

2. GLOBAL EVALUATION*

Attendance to any class or activity is not mandatory.

The preferred method of assessment is Continuous Assessment. Students who wish to take the Global Assessment (100% of the grade in the official exam, 1st call: 23/01/2025, 2nd call: 08/07/2025) must inform the person in charge of the subject, by email or through the Moovi platform, within a period of no more than one month from the beginning of the teaching of the subject. In this modality, in addition to theoretical content, more practical content will be included, which may also include the resolution of exercises.

3. END-OF-DEGREE CALL*

Attendance to any class or activity is not mandatory.

The student who chooses to take the end-of-course exam will be assessed solely on the basis of the exam (which will be worth 100% of the mark). In this modality, in addition to theoretical content, more practical content will be included, which may also include the resolution of exercises. If the student does not attend the exam, or does not pass it, he/she will be assessed in the same way as the rest of the students.

*In the case of error in the transcription of the exam dates, the valid dates are those officially approved and published on the notice board and on the Centre's website. In the case of a change of date for the first exam of the continuous assessment modality, the new date will be published in moovi.
