This subject has a two-fold objective. On the one hand, it is a formative supplement within the scope of the Network Technologies, for students of the GETT that did not study the speciality of Telematic Engineering, covering basic concepts of this. And, on the other hand, it gets a deeper insight in these contents, and also in those seen in the subject Redes de Ordenadores (Computer Networks) (2nd GETT).
