General description Spanish and World Economy is a basic subject taught in the second semester of the first year of the Business Administration and Management Degree. It has a total of 6 ECTS credits that correspond to 150 work hours on the part of the student, of which 50 are face-to-face activities, while the rest are activities that do not require attendance.
The aim of this subject is to introduce the student to Applied Economics, *starting with an analysis of Spanish and World Economy. The objective is to understand the inner workings and structure of Spanish and World Economy, emphasising the differences between Developed and Developing Countries on the one hand, and the economic structure of Spain on the other. It is organised into Basic Activities (*BA) and Complementary Activities (CA), both of a Theoretical (*T) and Practical (*P) nature, and which demand work both in and out of the classroom.
