Explanation and development of the subject by means of a lecture in the classroom. Open source software will be used to consolidate and extend theoretical knowledge: QGIS.

Construction and BIM methodology Building design guidelines. Regulations. Introduction to energy efficiency and its technologies in construction.
Introduction to BIM methodology. Definition and standards. EN ISO 19650 and application in BIM projects. Incorporation of BIM in the public sector. Standardisation, IFC model. Successful cases of projects based on BIM.

Explanation and development of the subject by means of a master class in the classroom.
Practical example of a Scan-to-BIM process from a 3D point cloud of a building acquired with a LiDAR sensor. Production of 2D plans and 3D models of the building.
