This subject provides the basics of power electronics and automatic control.
The first block provides the power electronics knowledge: basic semiconductor devices, protection and driving of semiconductors, and power circuits connected to the AC grid.
The second block provides the automatic control knowledge: fundamental tools to analyze, simulate and design continuous and discrete control systems, and deepens the knowledge on the industrial regulators fields.
