Seminars	Formulation and testing of hypotheses in biological oceanography. Critical synthesis of a scientific article. Oral presentation.
Problem solving	Practical cases are solved using real data presented numerically and graphically.
Practices through ICT	Analysis of data on the size-scaling of phytoplankton abundance, biomass and metabolism. Visualization of xyz distributions. Vertical integration. Nitrogen fluxes in the open ocean. Numerical modelling of the carbon biogeochemical cycle.
