Other comments on the Evaluation

Comments on evaluation

General considerations

In order to pass the subject it will be essential to obtain a minimum grade of 5 points.

Total or partial plagiarism in any type of work or activity, as well as non respect of the licenses of use, will suppose an automatic failure in the subject. Claiming ignorance of what plagiarism entails will not exempt students from their responsibility in this aspect.

1st assessment opportunity

There are two evaluation systems (continuous and single) to pass the subject in this first opportunity and participating in one of them implies the impossibility of participating in the other.

a) Continuous assessment

In order to take advantage of this system it is essential that the students carry out and deliver on time the different activities and works that are proposed in seminars and workshops. Tests in which students do not participate or activities not submitted within the stipulated period will be counted as 0. Likewise, students who opt for this evaluation system must comply with the minimum attendance requirement agreed by the master's degree.

b) Single assessment

The final grade of students who choose this single assessment system will be computed on the basis of the grades obtained in the single on-site test (oral and/or written), which will take place on the date established by the coordination of the master's degree. Please note that the single assessment test may consist of written and/or oral parts, it will deal with the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject, and its character will be markedly practical, as are the tests for students who take the continuous assessment.

For the realization of the single test it is necessary that students come to the classroom with a laptop computer or device that allows them to perform the proposed tasks. Students who choose this assessment system will be responsible for the configuration of their computer equipment so that it allows connection to the wifi network of the University of Vigo.

2nd assessment opportunity
The single test, which will take place on the date that the coordination of the master's degree will officially set for the month of June/July, will deal with the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. Like the single assessment test of the first opportunity, this 2nd assessment opportunity may consist of a written and/or oral tests, it will deal with the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject, and its character will be markedly practical, as are the tests for students who take the continuous assessment.

For the realization of this single test of the 2nd opportunity, it is necessary that students go to the designated classroom with a laptop or device that allows the realization of the proposed tasks. Students who use this assessment system will be responsible for the configuration of their computer equipment so that it allows the connection to the wifi network of the University of Vigo.
