This subject is part of Mathematics, and it is taught in the first term of the first year. The other Mathematics courses are: Calculus I, offered in the first term and Calculus II, offered in the second term of the first year. This course focuses on the competences in linear algebra, many of which are fundamental for the other Mathematics courses.
The subject serves as basic training, providing the mathematical foundation for different disciplines withing aeronautical engineering, such as vehicle design, manufacturing and numerical simulation.
