This guide is a guideline for foreign students, although it is not taught in English.
In order to pass the subject, each of the tests (seminar, multiple-choice tests and practical tests) must first be passed independently. (seminar, multiple-choice tests and practical tests). Students will not be assessed if they do not complete the tasks assigned (in due time and form) for the seminars and practical exercises. Students are warned that no marks will be kept for the following year, this aspect applies to both continuous assessment and global assessment students. ASSESSMENT SYSTEMS 1.- CONTINUOUS EVALUATION (DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS): it is aimed at those students who have a minimum attendance of 80% in the lectures and a maximum of 2 absences in the seminars, in addition they must have delivered the assignments in due time and form. If they do not comply with this requirement, they will be assessed by the global assessment system (single test). The tests and scores are those that appear in the evaluation methodologies, and each one must be passed independently in order to pass the subject. 2.-GLOBAL ASSESSMENT (SINGLE TEST): students who do not meet the minimum attendance requirements (lectures and seminars). These students will be assessed in this way: they will have to pass the same competences as the continuous assessment students in a single final exam, which will consist of several parts. As it is a single test, students who do not pass the first part, i.e. the dossier, will not have access to the rest of the tests; then the test (examination of objective questions), and if they do not pass, the practical tests (objective practical test, interview and social report) will not be assessed. The tests to be taken are as follows (as well as the assistants must independently pass each of the tests listed below in the single test): a.-Submission of a dossier with the practical work and exercises developed in the seminars (they must be supervised continuously by the teacher prior to final presentation), throughout the semester and will be delivered at the end of the teaching, prior to the rest of the tests, in an internal document in Moovi the deadlines will be established). It will score 10%. If it is not handed in on the requested date or if it is not passed, the student will not be able to access the rest of the tests (as it is a single test that requires all parts to be passed). b.-Final exam: in the official exam, exam type with objective questions (same format and correction system as for the assistants). It will be marked by 30%. PRACTICAL TESTS (will be assessed provided that the first part of the dossier and the multiple-choice exam have been passed), the tests are the same as for continuous assessment students. c.Resolution of problems and/or exercises: written test on the interview and delivery of autonomous practices on the same. It will score 5%. d.-Practical laboratory test: same content as the assistance tests. It will score 35%. e.-Problem solving in writing on questions related to the classroom practicals. It will score 20%. WARNING The continuous monitoring of the classroom activities and the communication with the students related to the tasks will be carried out through the Moovi platform. Students who opt for global assessment must communicate this by post by the last school day of October 2024. FOR BOTH CONTINUOUS AND GLOBAL ASSESSMENT STUDENTS: At the beginning of the course, documents will be uploaded with the instructions and timetable for the assessment tasks and tests, which must be completed in order to pass the subject. Students will be required to be able to write correctly and without spelling mistakes (including graphic accents and abbreviations), to be able to read comprehensively, analyse and synthesise, as well as to summarise what they have read or heard in the classroom. They are also expected to be able to express themselves correctly and in accordance with the level required for a university course, using terminology appropriate to that level. All this will be part of the student's evaluation and, in any case, will have to be reflected in their exercises and in the exam. Plagiarism means immediate failure of the subject.
OVERALL ASSESSMENT MODALITY
Students who decide to opt for global assessment must contact the teacher to notify this option at the beginning of the course and always before the established deadline. In order to facilitate the reconciliation of work and academic training, the contents, planning, methodological resources and assessment system will be adapted for students in this modality, guaranteeing, in all cases, the achievement of the competences and learning outcomes established in this document. A specific folder will be opened on the Moovi platform in which the assessment tasks and tests that will guide the development of this subject for students of this option will be reported.NOTE: as this is a global test, if any part is failed, the failure is general for the subject, and the global assessment test can be retaken at the second opportunity with all the tests set out in this guide. In line with the inclusive nature that characterises the Faculty of Education and Social Work, this guide may be adapted to meet the specific educational support needs of students enrolled in the PIUNE programme (Programme for the integration of university students with specific educational support needs). ______________________________ (1) The sole purpose of processing this data is so that the teaching staff of the subject can verify the identity of the students enrolled in the same. EXTRAORDINARY CALL FOR EXAMS (2nd opportunity) The tests (theory or practical part) passed at the 1st opportunity will not be subject to evaluation at the 2nd opportunity, and will be considered passed in that academic year. No marks will be kept from one academic year to the next. The 1st opportunity, if the subject is not passed, will not be recorded on the academic transcript. The qualification becomes effective in the extraordinary call. The overall assessment, with a failed part, repeats all the tests in this call.
