Problem and/or exercise solving The system of evaluation that students can opt for is of two types:
exercise solving continuous evaluation or global evaluation.
Attendance at the practical classes is an essential factor in the evaluation process of continuous evaluation. It is essential to have attended at least 75% of the practical classes to be able to participate in the system of continuous evaluation. If a student cannot attend 75% of the classes, they will not be able to take part in the system of continuous assessment, and will be only able to do one final exam.
The test of problem-solving and/or exercises will consist of a written exam in which students must resolve one or several practical cases.
In the continuous assessment, this written exam constitutes the third test, in addition to the two tests (multiple choice) that are explained in the following section, and has a weight of 40% of the final grade of the subject.
The date, time and place for this test will be published in the calendar of assessment tests officially approved by the Faculty Board for the course 2024-2025 and other relevant documentation.

Objective questions exam 1st exam (multiple choice): the system of continuous assessment will consist of two mid-term tests (multiple choice) during the course and in a final test, which consists in the resolution of one or several practical cases, presented previously.
The two tests (multiple choice) will consist of two examinations of 25 questions, with four possible answers, of which only one is correct. To calculate the final grade, the incorrect answers receive half the mark of the correct answers; questions left unanswered receive no marks.
The coordinator of the course will notify the students about the place, date and content of the first test (multiple choice) in the first week of the course.
The grade of the first test (multiple choice) has a weight of 30% of the final grade of the subject.

Other comments on the Evaluation

1. EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR THE 1st EXAM OPPORTUNITY

a) CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT SYSTEM
It is described in the previous sections.
b)
GLOBAL ASSESSMENT SYSTEM:
a single exam, which will include the entire
syllabus and constitutes 100% of the course grade. It will consist of
two parts, one theoretical and one practical. The theoretical part will
consist of a multiple choice test, with 50 questions, with four possible
answers, only one of which is correct. For their qualification, the
incorrect answers subtract half of what the correct ones add, not
scoring those left blank. This part represents 60% of the final grade.
The practical part will consist of solving one or more practical cases.
This part represents 40% of the final grade. The final mark of the exam
will be the sum of the marks obtained in each one of the parts. To pass
the subject it is necessary to obtain a minimum of 5 points in the sum
of the qualification of both parts. The dates, times and place of these
tests will be those indicated in the evaluation test calendar approved
by the Faculty Board for the 2024-2025 academic year and concordant
documentation.
