  Description
Master Session Only some classes in which the teacher shows concepts and/or explains knowledges interesting to learn. In these classes the professor teachs an introductory explanation and afterwards he give them a material that they work by means of the puzzle technique. In each subject that we work this way, we create again the groups.
After the time they used to study, we do a small examination to one member, chosen randomly, of each group. The mark obtained by this student is the mark that applies to all the students of the group. This technique reinforces the commitment between them as it makes necessary that all of them learn. The total of these proofs suppose 25% of the final mark.
Assistance to classes in the continuous evaluation is compulsory, except exceptional circumstances. The fault of assistance, with this system of work, complicates a lot the learning and the evaluation processes.
With this methodology we work the CG3, CG9, CG12 y CT4 competences.
Practice in computer rooms They are the main part of the course. The assistance to these classes is compulsory because in them we do a follow-up of the student work. In these practices we use Blender and, mainly, Unity 3D with which in parallel they do the tutored work of creation of a multimedia application.
The realisation of this multimedia application and its presentation in class supposes 65% of their final mark.
With this methodology we work the CG9, CG12, CE74, as well as the CT3 and CT4 competences.
Tutored works In groups of 2 or 3 students, they realise several works along the four month course. Some works are centred in the learning of the theoretical concepts explained in the master sessions and one, but big one and that lasts all the four month course, consists in the creation of a small game with Unity 3D using designs realised in Blender. They work in group, in the classroom of practices and out of the classroom. The tutored works are the fundamental element of the course.
With this methodology we work the CG9, CG12, CE74, CT3 and CT4 competences.
Presentations / exhibitions They do two presentations: one just when they have been able to define the multimedia application that they are going to do, and another one at the end of the course where they present their application already finished and working.
The final presentation is long, but the previous are very brief. What we look for is that all the students know what their mates are doing. These presentations are also good to solve doubts between them.
In the final presentation each group self-evaluates and evaluates the others groups according to a rubric.
With this methodology we work the CG12 and CT4 competences.
