The main goal of this course is to acquire the scientific knowledge and the study of the technical application concerning energy conversion devices that employ water as the exchanger fluid. The application of fluid mechanics to hydropower systems is revisited here from an industrial point of view, dealing with the most common types of water pumps and turbines.
