Type CB Code Basic Competences
  CB1 Students need to show they have acquired and understood the knowledge in a field of study that builds upon general secondary education and is usually at a level that, whilst drawing on advanced text books, also includes certain aspects implying familiarity with the state-of-the-art in the field.
  CB2 Students need to be able to apply acquired knowledge to their work or vocation in a professional manner; they should have skills enabling them to develop and defend different points of view and solve problems associated to their field of study.
  CB3 Students should be able to collect and interpret relevant data (usually within their field of study) to make judgments that include a reflection on relevant social, scientific or ethical issues.
  CB4 Students should be able to convey information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialized and non-specialized audiences.
  CB5 Students should have developed the learning skills required to continue studying at a high level of autonomy.
Type CG Code General Competences
  CG1 Develop environmental sensitivity and the commitment towards a sustainable economy.
  CG2 Skills linked to seeking and organizing documentation and adequately presenting work to an audience.
  CG3 Independent learning skills that open fields to innovation.
  CG4 Effective personal management of time and planning within a work system.
  CG5 Mobility and adaptability to different contexts and situations.
  CG6 Reflect on economic issues and their social and ethical impact.
  CG7 Promote a spirit of research and develop the ability to analyze new issues with available instruments.
Type CE Code Specific Competences
  CE1 Understand the basic mathematical tools required to formalize economic behavior.
  CE2 Understand the basic language of economics and the way economists think.
  CE3 Know the institutional framework of the economy.
  CE4 Ability of situating an economy in its own historical evolution.
  CE5 Understand the basic functioning of the economy, both from a broad perspective as well as a close one.
  CE6 Acquire knowledge of economic analysis.
  CE7 Understand business environment.
  CE8 Ability to look for, identify and interpret relevant sources of economic information and their contents.
  CE9 Identify and anticipate relevant economic issues in both public and private spheres.
  CE10 Ability to use technical tools to formulate simple models concerning economic variables.
  CE11 Ability to develop economic policies to achieve set goals.
  CE12 Use empirical techniques to assess the consequences of alternative actions to ultimately choose the best option.
  CE13 Ability to prepare economic assessment reports
Type CT Code Transversal Competences
