Other comments on the Evaluation

Students
may choose to be evaluated through the continuous evaluation system (CE), or
alternatively opt for a Global Evaluation (GE) test. The default evaluation is
the CE. The student may choose EG according to the procedure and the deadline
established by the center. The choice of GE implies the waiver of the right to
continue being evaluated by means of the remaining CE activities and the grade obtained
up to that moment in any of the tests that have already been taken.

 • CE. In
case of not waiving the continuous evaluation, the evaluation will be made
based on the following tasks:

- 2
evaluation tests, with a weighting of 25% each, will be taken during the
course. The second of these tests will take place on the same day as the
official date of the first opportunity EG (on this date the first test may also
be repeated if the student so wishes). If a minimum grade of 4 is not reached
in the average of both tests, the final grade of the subject will never be
higher than 4. If the subject is not passed in the first opportunity, in the
second opportunity the contents of both tests will be evaluated, with a
weighting of 50%.

 - Quality
of the worksheets submitted and of the assignments done in the practical
classes (attendance to the practical classes is necessary for the evaluation of
the assignments done in them), with a weighting of 30%. This grade will be kept
for the second opportunity.

 - Group
development of 3 skills related to the presentation of contents (face-to-face
presentation, video and poster), with a weighting of 20%. The presentation and
the quality of the contents will be valued. This grade will be kept for the
second opportunity.

 • GE in
the first opportunity (February I four-month period/May-June II four-month
period). Students will be evaluated by means of a single exam that will be
weighted 100%.

 • GE in
the second opportunity (July extraordinary call) Students will be evaluated by
means of a single test that will be weighted 100%.

Students who do not
participate in the CE or the GE will appear in the minutes as "not
presented".

It is recommended that students take into account Title VII
(The use of illicit means), of the Regulation on the Assessment, Qualification
and Quality of Teaching and the Student Learning Process (https://secretaria.uvigo.gal/uv/web/normativa/public/normativa/documento/downloadbyhash/4904ced4d24eb81fe5715ddde2c48c59c0a7c4d624cd0e7491df7a753985ccfa).

The dates
and times of the GE tests (first and second opportunity) are those specified in
the calendar of evaluation tests approved by the Xunta de Facultade for the
2023/24 academic year. In case of conflict or disparity between the exam dates,
those published on the faculty website (http://fccee.uvigo.es/organizacion-docente.html)
will prevail.
