Other comments on the Evaluation

Avaliación continua. The lecturer will inform students about the type of assignments and the deadlines, which will take place about the end of October for the first assignment and the end of November for the second assignment. The date of the exam will be during the exam period on the date established by Faculty.

Avaliación única.  The assessment criteria explained above is for students who attend classes regularly. Those students who cannot attend for some reason must tell the lecturer at the beginning of the semester. They must submit the same assignments and sit the exam as the rest of the students but they may hand in their assignments on the date of the exam; this will count as 80% of the final mark. They must also do an oral exam about the texts analysed in classes on the same date of the exam, which counts as 20% of the final mark.

Resit exams (July). Students who do not pass the subject can take the resit exam in the summer exam period (July 2017). They may maintain the marks of the assignments if they wish to. The exam will be on the date decided and published by Faculty.

Note: The assessment will take into account not only the quality but also the clarity and linguistic correctness of the contents.
