Type CB Code Basic Competences
  CB1 Students will have shown they have sufficient knowledge and understanding of an area of study, starting after completion of general secondary education, and normally reaching a level of proficiency that, being mostly based on advanced textbooks, will also include familiarity with some cutting-edge developments within the relevant field of study.
  CB2 Students will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in their professional practice or vocation and they will show they have the required expertise through the construction and discussion of arguments and the resolution of problems within the relevant area of study.
  CB3 Students will be able to gather and interpret relevant data (normally within their field of study) that will allow them to have a reflection-based considered opinion on important issues of social, scientific and ethical nature.
  CB4 Students will be able to present information, ideas, problems and solutions both to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
  CB5 Students will acquire the learning skills that are required to pursue further studies with a high degree of independence.
Type CG Code General Competences
  CG1 Knowledge of the essential characteristics of communication, its elements and its results.
  CG2 Knowledge of the political and social reality of the world in the era of global communication.
  CG3 Ability to apply techniques and procedures of composition of images to the different audiovisual formats, starting with knowledge of the classical laws and the esthetic and cultural movements in the history of the image.
  CG4 Ability to present the results of academic works in written and oral forms and through audiovisual and computing means, according to the standards of communication disciplines.
  CG5 Knowledge of the constitutional values, ethical principles and deontological norms applicable to audiovisual communication, particularly those pertaining to equality between men and women, non-discrimination of people with disabilities and non-sexist uses of women’s images in mass communication media.
  CG6 Knowledge of the historical development of the image and audiovisual culture, in its different formats.
Type CE Code Specific Competences
  CE1 Knowledge of and correct use, both oral and in writing, of the official languages as a means of professional expression in the audiovisual industry.
  CE2 Ability to critically understand the audiovisual world within the cultural and socio-political context of a specific historical period.
  CE3 Theoretical-practical knowledge of the legal mechanisms impinging on the audiovisual world, along with the juridical framework of their application in audiovisual productions.
  CE4 Knowledge of the processes and techniques involved in the management of audiovisual companies.
  CE5 Knowledge and application of the techniques of radio production and broadcasting.
  CE6 Knowledge of the public policies of promotion and regulation in the field of audiovisual production and distribution at European, national and autonomic levels of governance.
  CE7 Ability to carry out analysis and implementation of strategies of distribution and dissemination of audiovisual contents and their influence on the production process.
  CE8 Knowledge and application of the fundamentals of audiovisual animation.
  CE9 Knowledge and application of the techniques of audiovisual documentation.
  CE10 Ability to create the sound environment of an audiovisual production.
  CE11 Ability to carry out analyses of the structures, contents and styles of TV programming.
  CE12 Knowledge of the nature of and interrelations between agents in audiovisual communication: directors, institutions, companies, media, platforms and audiences.
  CE13 Ability to design the staging, lighting and direction of actors and actresses in an audiovisual production.
  CE14 Ability to design personal, innovative, creative projects that contribute to the knowledge and development of audiovisual languages and their interpretation.
  CE15 Knowledge of the fundamentals of journalistic information through the different existing texts and genres, to be applied in print and digital media.
  CE16 Knowledge of the history and development of audiovisual languages and genres through their esthetic and industrial projects.
  CE17 Knowledge and application of the resources, methods and procedures used in the construction and analysis of audiovisual narratives.
  CE18 Knowledge of the fundamentals of the history and theory of communication.
  CE19 Knowledge and application of audiovisual technologies (photography, film, radio, television and multimedia) according to their expressive capacities.
  CE20 Knowledge of spatial images and iconic representations in space, both in still and moving images.
  CE21 Ability to carry out the recording, composition, editing and post-production of audiovisual products.
  CE22 Ability to manage effectively communication in social media.
  CE23 Ability to write screenplays fluently for the different audiovisual formats.
  CE24 Knowledge and application of the techniques and processes of audiovisual production in the different existing formats and platforms in the present time.
  CE25 Knowledge and application of the techniques for the design and development of interactive multimedia projects.
  CE26 Ability to carry out analysis and implementation of marketing strategies for the development, distribution and consumption of market-oriented audiovisual and multimedia products.
Type CT Code Transversal Competences
  CT1 To understand the importance of technological, economic and social changes in the development of audiovisual projects.
  CT2 To be able to work in a team and to communicate one’s ideas through the creation of an appropriate environment.
  CT3 To be able to take expressive and thematic risks, suggesting personal solutions and points of view to develop projects.
  CT4 To be able to organize tasks and carry them out in an orderly fashion, making sound decisions according to logical priorities in the different processes of audiovisual production.
  CT5 To understand the importance of upholding a shared respect for the different people and peoples of the planet, for universal values of education, culture, peace and justice, for human rights, equality of opportunities and non-discrimination on the basis of gender, sexuality, race or religion.
  CT6 To understand the necessity of preserving the linguistic, audiovisual and cultural heritage of Galicia.
