First assessment opportunity:

In order to pass the course in the first assessment opportunity, students must obtain a mark higher than 3.75 out of 10 in the final examination of the subject, as well as a mark higher than 5 out of 10 in the combined assessment of the continuous assessment tests/assignments and the examination held on the official date. If the mark of 3.75 in the final examination is exceeded, the final mark for the course shall be obtained in accordance with the indicated percentages. If a mark equal to or lower than 3.75 out of 10 is obtained in the final examination, the final mark for the course shall be the mark obtained in the final examination.

Use of AI

The use of AI shall be limited to supporting students in the completion of very specific and limited tasks within continuous assessment assignments. Any assignment that is wholly or partially the direct result of the use of an artificial intelligence program shall not be accepted. The use of AI in on-site tests shall be strictly prohibited. Where there are well-founded indications of improper use of AI, the teaching staff may reject assignments, request additional tests, or refer the case to the corresponding disciplinary procedure.

Global assessment:

Students have the right to opt for global assessment in accordance with the procedure and deadline established by the centre for each examination period.

An examination shall be held on the official date, covering all the contents of the subject, including the contents and methods used in the case studies. A mark of 5 out of 10 in this examination shall be required to pass the subject.

Second assessment opportunity:

If the final continuous assessment mark obtained in the first assessment opportunity is lower than 5 out of 10, students must sit the second-opportunity examination covering all the contents of the subject, which shall account for 100% of the final mark.

If the student has obtained a mark equal to or higher than 5 out of 10 in the combined assignments/tests of the continuous assessment in the first assessment opportunity, this mark shall be retained for the second assessment opportunity, and the student shall only have to sit the official examination, which shall have a weight of 40% in the final mark for the subject. In order to pass the subject, the mark obtained in the final examination must be higher than 3.75 out of 10, and the average of the continuous assessment assignments/tests and the examination must be higher than 5.0. If the student does not exceed 3.75 out of 10 in the final examination, the final mark for the subject shall be the mark obtained in the examination.

Final-degree assessment:

For the final-degree assessment, an examination shall be held on the official date, covering all the contents of the subject. A mark of 5 out of 10 in this examination shall be required to pass the subject.

Use of electronic devices

During tests, the use of watches, devices that emit or receive radio frequencies, mobile phones, or any other electronic device in the classroom is not permitted, except for those expressly authorised by the centre management for medical reasons, in accordance with the corresponding resolution regarding the request for adaptation by students with special educational needs. During tests, all students must keep their ears uncovered so that it can be verified that they are not using unauthorised devices. If any student is detected with unauthorised material during any test, whether copying, attempting to copy, or simply having such material in the classroom, this shall be grounds for disciplinary action. After identification, the student shall be asked to leave the classroom, and their final mark shall be 0 points.
