Other comments on the Evaluation

ASSESSMENT IN THE FIRST EXAM SESSION:

To be eligible for continuous assessment based on classroom activities, students must attend 80% of the in-person class sessions (Group A) and classroom-lab sessions (Group B) and demonstrate satisfactory performance.

The final grade will be determined through continuous assessment by calculating the cumulative percentage of each individual grade obtained. In any case, students must achieve a minimum passing grade (5 out of 10) in each of the sections established in the assessment section of this course guide.

The documents and files corresponding to the course assignments and tasks must be uploaded by each student, within the established deadlines and in the required format, to their respective personal space in the course's virtual classroom on MOOVI.

Any student who does not achieve at least 80% attendance must opt for the comprehensive assessment mode and take the examination covering both theoretical and practical aspects on the official date published on the faculty's website.

ASSESSMENT IN THE SECOND SESSION:

If a student did not pass the course in the first session, the competencies not acquired will be assessed in the July session:

  • Students who opted for continuous assessment in the first session may complete the activities that have not yet been successfully assessed.
  • Students who did not meet the minimum 80% in-person attendance requirement, who did not take the exam, or who did not receive a passing grade on the exam during the first exam period must take the theoretical/practical exam (as applicable).

In keeping with the inclusive nature of the School of Education and Social Work, this guide may be adapted to address the specific educational support needs of students enrolled in the PIUNE (PAT) program.

In order to promote a balance between work and academic studies, the course content, schedule, methodological resources, and assessment system will be adapted for students in the bridge program, ensuring, in all cases, that the course’s competencies and learning outcomes are achieved. A folder will be created on the Moovi platform to provide information on the assignments and assessments that will guide the progress of this course for students in the bridge program or practicing professionals.

ETHICAL USE OF AI:

The use of AI tools in the assessment activities for this course must be responsible, ethical, and transparent, in accordance with the guidelines of the FETS (Normativa e formularios – Facultade

) and the regulations established by UVigo
