The subject consists of four main blocks and the score of each of them is weightedwith 25% on the final grade:
To pass the subject you will need to pass with a minimum of 5 points out of 10 in eachof these blocks. If the minimum mark is not exceeded in any of the blocks, themaximum mark which may be entered in the Minutes shall be 4,5 points. 1.-Part of theory. This partis divided into "Objective QuestionsExam", 17.5%, and the testsincluded in "Lecturing", 7.5%. To consider passed this part,the/student/a will have to obtain a grade equal to or greater than 5 points ineach of the tests.
If the grade obtained in the "Objective Questions Exam" is equal to or greater than 5 points and, in turn, higher than that achieved in the "Lecturing" tests, the final grade in Block 1 shall be that of "Objective Questions Exam". 2.-Part of problems. This partis divided into "Problem and/or Exercise Solving ", 17.5%, and testsincluded in "Problem Solving", 7.5%. To consider passed this part, the student/a will have to obtain a grade equal to or greater than 5 points ineach of the tests.
If thegrade obtained in the "Problem and/or Exercise Solving" is equal toor greater than 5 points and, in turn, higher than the one achieved in the "Problem Solving" tests, the total grade in Block 2 shall be that of "Problem and/or Exercise Solving".
In case of not reaching the minimum score in blocks 1.- and/or 2.-, the/student,individually, will have to perform again in the 2nd chance exam part of the exam "Objective Questions Exam" and/or "Problem and/or Exercise Solving" not exceeded, respectively. 3.-Seminar work (Essay Questions Exam, 25%). The final grade of the seminars will be calculated with the geometric mean obtained withthe grades of each of the questionnaires performed. To be considered passed this test, the student will have to obtain a grade equal to or greater than 5 points.
In case of not reaching the minimum score in block 3.-, the student, individually, will have to carry out again the questionnaires of those sessions of seminaries in which it has obtained a qualification inferior to 5 points in the term that the corresponding teacher will consider appropriate. 4.-Laboratory practices part. The work carried out in the laboratory ( "Laboratory Practical", 3.75%, 1.5 points out of 10) and the corresponding "Report of practices, practicumand external practices" (21.25%, 8.5 points out of 10) will be evaluated following criteria that will be published in the Moovi platform. The average grade of laboratory practice shall be calculated on the basis of the geometric mean of the grades obtained in each of the practices. To be considered passed this test, the student will have to obtain a grade equal to or greater than 5 points.
In case of not reaching the minimum score in block 4.-, the student, individually, will have to send again the reports of practices of those sessions in which he/she obtained a grade below 5 points with the relevant corrections, within the period deemed appropriate by the teacher concerned.
The performance by the students of any test of those shown in the table above, will be taken into account immediately for the final grade and will appear in the minutes as a student presented in the corresponding call.
The unjustified absence to one of the sessions of seminars and/or practices, blocks 3.- and 4.-, supposes the evaluation of the block that corresponds with a score of 0 points, being repeated in its entirety in the next course.
The ratings and each of the blocks will be published on the Moovi platform, indicating the date, time and place of the corresponding revisions.
Overall evaluation option. The application for this evaluation option will have to be submitted in the time and form determined by the Center, which will be published before the beginning of the academic year. Given the experimental nature of the practicesand seminars, attendance is mandatory to qualify for this evaluation option. Failure to attend the internship, without justified cause, invalidates thispossibility, as well as the opportunity for extraordinary evaluation (2nd opportunity).
Students are required to conduct this subject responsibly and honestly. Any form offraud (e.g. copying and/or plagiarism) aimed at distorting the level ofknowledge or skill achieved by students in any type of test, report or work designed for this purpose is considered inadmissible. Fraudulent conduct may involve suspension in the matter during a full course. An internal record shallbe kept of these proceedings in order to request the Rectorate to open adisciplinary file in the event of a repeat offence.
If thesubject does not pass, only the following tests will be validated for the following course, if they have passed: - LaboratoryPractical. - Reportof practices, practicum and external practices. - Essay QuestionsExam (seminars).
