The final grade for the subject will be given by the weighted addition of the marks for all the evaluation sections, provided that the minimum score required in each of them is reached. To pass the subject, completing the laboratory practices is mandatory and achieving at least 50% of the maximum score for this activity. Students who only carry out the laboratory practices will receive the qualification resulting from the application of the percentage corresponding to this section. The qualification corresponding to the written tests will be the average of the grade obtained in both, provided that a score equal to or greater than 4,0 points out of 10,0 is achieved. In case of not obtaining this score, the final grade that will be obtained, will be the average grade of the written tests. The participation of students in any of the evaluation activities of the subject will imply the status of "presented" and, therefore, the assignment of a grade in the subject. Regarding this point, attendance at the laboratory sessions (two or more), realization of exercises proposed by the teaching staff (20%) and completion of one of the written tests will be taken into account.
Evaluation in the extraordinary call (2nd opportunity) The final grade for the subject will be given by the weighted addition of the marks for all the evaluation sections, as long as the required score in each of them are reached. In this call, the previous percentages will be maintained, maintaining the qualifications obtained in the laboratory practices and in the resolution of exercises and questions. Students will be able to recover the grade corresponding to the written tests (60%) by taking a global test. To pass the subject, it must achieve a score equal to or greater than 4.0 points out of 10.0 in this test. If this score is not achieved, the final mark for the subject will be the grade of the global test, and none of the other sections will be taken into account.
Global evaluation Students who wish to opt for the global evaluation (EG) must request it within the deadline established by the Faculty. This information will be available to students before the beginning of the academic period. To pass the subject, it is necessary to carry out the laboratory practices and achieve at least 50% of the maximum possible score for this activity. The students who opt for the EG will take a test in which all the content of the subject will be assesed. This test will constitute 85% of the final grade for the subject, both in the ordinary and in the second opportunity calls. To pass the subject, it is necessary to obtain a score equal to or greater than 4.0 points out of 10 in this test. If this score is not achieved, the final grade will be the grade for the overall test, and none of the other sections will be taken into account.
