The utilisation of waters regenerated and other alternative sources of water, have turned into an element more than the integrated management of the water resources, that offers a series of opportunities and evident profits such as: allow a better management of the resources when freeing committed volumes of water of greater quality for other uses, included the supply; increase the available resources in coastal zones or guarantee a greater reliability and regularity of the supply.
In this context, in this subject, the students will purchase knowledges on the parameters of quality of the water and the rule related, in base to the use that go to give to the water regenerated. Besides, it will tackle how the distinct treatments allow the reuse of the waters and increase the water resources by means of alternative sources and his possible uses (environmental, urban, industrial, like drinkable water).
