Other comments on the Evaluation

The assessment by default will be continuous assessment system (CA). Students may choose Global Assessment (GA) before october, 15 by sending an e-mail to mgonzalez@uvigo.es.

• CA prevails in case of not asking to be assess using GA:

a. Continuous assessment tasks will be carried out during all the weeks of the course. PRACTICES THROUGH ICT (25%), MENTORED WORK (25%), LECTURING(40%) and AUTONOMOUS PROBLEM SOLVING(10%).

b. To pass the subject by AC, it is necessary to obtain at least 60 points out of 100 in lecturing and a minimum of 33 points out of 100 in each of the remaining parts.

c. A minimum of 50 points out of 100 is necessary to pass the course under CA (continous evaluation)

• GA - first opportunity (February ). The students will be assess based on a test of the content of lecturing, which represents 40% of the total GA score. In this test it will be necessary to obtain a minimum of 60 points out of 100. 60% will consider reports based on the analysis of data from statistical sources and indicators, use of ICTs and/or developing questions related to the contents of the program .

• GA - second opportunity (extraordinary opportunity in July) and (extraordinary opportunity in October for students that take this exam to finish the degree ). The students will be assess based on a test of the content of lecturing, which represents 40% of the total GA score. In this test it will be necessary to obtain a minimum of 60 points out of 100. 60% will consider reports based on the analysis of data from statistical sources and indicators, use of ICTs and/or developing questions related to the contents of the program .

Students who do neither participate in the CA nor the GA get the grade “not presented”. The dates and times of the GA tests (first and second opportunity) are those specified in the assessment test calendar approved by the Faculty Board for the academic year 2024/25. In case of conflict or disparity between exam dates, those published on the Faculty website, http://fccee.uvigo.es/organizacion-docente.html, will prevail.

Both the tutorial schedule and the email to make an appointment face-to-face or non-face-to-face appointements will be available on the online learning platform (MooVi) of the course.
