It is mandatory to upload a photo to the e-learning platform during the first week of the course. The photo must be passport style or clear enough to see the student's face. The grades of those students who do not upload a photo will not be published. It is advisable that students prepare and study the contents of the course in a serious and constant manner. Students who do not have the required level of English (C1) will have to seek English language training on their own. Daily independent work is essential to progress and pass the course. It must be taken into account that the classroom hours are only part of the total hours of work necessary to pass the course; in no case do they represent the total number of hours that the student will have to devote to this subject. In this sense, it is highly recommended that the material handled by the students is not limited to that seen in the classrooom sessions. It is recommended that time be devoted to reading newspapers, books and magazines in English, watching videos, movies, series in English, etc.. Students must respect the copyright of both the books used as teaching support and the original materials developed and provided by the lecturer(s) in the classroom or through the e-learning platform. During classes, students are not allowed to use mobile devices (phone, tablet, PDA or similar) or computers, unless the lecturer(s) allows or requires their use for any pedagogical purposes. The use of dictionaries, notes and electronic devices (mobile phones, tablets, computers, etc.) is not allowed during exams. It is the students' responsibility to have the necessary electronic means to keep track of the course and any possible assessment tests. If the event of any technical problem that hinders access to virtual teaching, the student should inform the technical services of the university (SAUM), where they will be able to receive advice. The criteria described here will also apply to external students (Erasmus, etc.). It is their responsibility to be aware of the dates where assessment tests take place as well as their compatibility with the deadlines for records at their home university. In the event of any problem to access the e-learning platform, they should contact the lecturer(s) as soon as possible. If there are students belonging to the Senior Programme in the subject, their assessment process may be different from that applied to the rest of the students and will be agreed with the lecturer(s) sufficiently in advance.
