The growing concern for the efficient use of public funds, together with an increasing focus of public administrations on citizen-oriented service, has led to the gradual incorporation of human resource management techniques inspired by the private sector into public organizations. This evolution has mainly involved raising awareness of how employment and compensation policies, work methods, performance outcomes, and staff attitudes directly influence the effectiveness and efficiency of the public sector. In this context, the training program presented below aims to contribute to the knowledge and critical analysis of human resource management tools and practices applicable in public administrations, providing students with a solid foundation for their understanding and application in real-world settings.
