Information about the evaluation tests, their format, length, evaluation rubric and delivery channels will be detailed through the Moovi platform. It is the responsibility of the students to pay attention to the information uploaded and collect the specific and complementary information that is necessary to pass the subject. CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT Attendance at 70% of the practical sessions will be mandatory for each of the two projects that the subject includes. Below this percentage, the teacher may reduce the student's grade by up to 50% with respect to the final evaluation of the projects carried out in groups. To pass it is necessary to achieve a pass both in the “Case Study” and in the average of the projects delivered. Late deliveries are subject to a 50% reduction in the qualification for that work. SECOND CHANCE AND END OF CAREER Students who have passed any of the parts of the subject (the practical part: which includes the average of the two projects or the theoretical part: Case Studies test), will be able to keep their grade and will only have to submit a separate pass. To pass the subject on the second opportunity it will be necessary to approve the case study and/or submit project 1 in real-time format individually. In the case of students who fail the practical block, they will be proposed to make a series of modifications to project 1 shown, which must be carried out within the time established by the teacher, not exceeding three hours. After that time you must repeat the test making sure that your piece is recorded correctly in video and audio. For this you may count on external collaboration. GLOBAL EVALUATION SYSTEM The global evaluation of the subject includes a theoretical block and a practical block with an overall duration of 5 hours. It will be mandatory to pass each of the parts of each of the blocks to pass the subject: The theoretical block, lasting two hours, includes analysis of two pieces of new media proposed during the semester and in accordance with the analysis criteria applied during the course. This block counts 40% of the final grade. The practical block, lasting 3 hours, is based on a real-time proposal for the appropriation of one of the films proposed during the course along with a making-of piece explaining the decisions made and providing material from the work process. After the first exposure in real time, changes will be requested that must be applied and exposed in the remaining time. After that time you must repeat the test making sure that your piece is recorded correctly in video and audio. For this you may count on external collaboration. This block counts 60% of the final grade. It is the responsibility of global assessment students to access Moovi to consult information and academic sources related to the subject. Under no circumstances will you have the right to receive teaching during the tutoring sessions, which will be aimed solely at resolving doubts. The date of the global evaluation test will coincide with the official exam tests in the first and second call. |
