Other comments on the Evaluation

Following the provisions of the Regulation on the evaluation, qualification and quality of teaching and the student learning process (Approved by the claustro on April 18, 2023), there are two evaluation systems, continuous and global. Students must choose between one of the two evaluation systems in the first four weeks of the semester. If they opt for global evaluation, the student will inform the teacher of their express resignation from the continuous evaluation system within the period established by the center for this purpose, attaching the completed and signed document authorized for this purpose.

The details of the methodologies included in the preceding table correspond to the continuous evaluation system. The calculation of the final qualification in this system will be weighted as specified in the table.

If the person does not appear for the exam in the official exam call, it will be recorded as Not presented (N.p.), even if they have followed the continuous evaluation activities.

If you opt for the global assessment system, on the date and times provided by the center in the official exam calendar, the student must take the same exam as students enrolled in the continuous assessment system, which combines the answer to multiple-choice questions and written development questions on the knowledge, skills and competencies of the subject (it will account for 40% of the grade). In addition to the previous exam, you will carry out a written commentary exercise on a text provided by the teacher (it will account for 20% of the grade). Finally, you will submit a portfolio of reviews on a set of texts selected by the teacher, which are reported on the telelearning page for the subject. A space will be enabled on the telelearning page to upload a digital copy of the folder, in which you will find the references of the texts to work on, and indications on the length and format (it will account for 40% of the grade).

Information about the assessment tests, their format, length, assessment rubric and delivery channels will be detailed through the MooVi platform. It is the responsibility of the student to pay attention to the information uploaded and recompile the specific and complementary information that is necessary to pass the subject.

On the date of the second opportunity of the official call for the subject, the grades of the tests passed in the first call will be maintained
