To pass the subject through continuous evaluation it is necessary to obtain a minimum score of 5 points out of 10 in the practical part of the subject and a minimum score of 5 points out of 10 in the theoretical part of the subject.
As an alternative to the continuous evaluation system, students may choose to be evaluated through a final exam that will account for 100% of the grade, also composed of a theoretical part and a practical part. You must obtain at least 5 out of 10 points in each of the parts. In this case, they must request the subject's teacher via email (naraujo@uvigo.es) to be evaluated in this way and renounce continuous evaluation between September 11 and October 11, 2024. The teacher will send an acknowledgment receipt of the email and acceptance of the change in the evaluation system. If she does not receive an email from the teacher, the request will not be valid.
The score obtained for participation, as well as the completion and delivery of all those tasks established by the teacher (cases, exercises, assumptions, theoretical part of the subject), is maintained in the June and July calls of this academic year, but It is not saved for later courses.
If the student does not pass the subject in the first call, he or she may take the extraordinary call. Students who have waived continuous evaluation will take an exam with two parts, theoretical and practical. Each of them will be worth 50% of the grade and it will be necessary to obtain a minimum of 5 points out of 10 in each part to pass the subject. Students who have followed continuous evaluation during the course must recover the part(s) not passed (theory and/or practice) in the extraordinary call.
The dates and programs of the evaluation tests for the different calls are those specified in the evaluation test calendar approved by the Center Board for the 2024-25 academic year.
