Introduction to the state of the art of nanoelectronics with lectures on the basic principles of the way different electronic devices incorporating nanomaterials and nanostructures work. The most relevant characteristics of nanomaterials and nanostructures used in these devices, the main techniques that enable their modelling and their fabrication using advanced techniques will be explained. This knowledge will be combined with practical classes on the fabrication and characterisation of materials and structures in an ISO-7 clean room and their modelling using specific simulation software.
