In general, the aim will be for the student to acquire a certain competence in preparing, understanding and translating complex legal and administrative texts; it should be stressed that this will be a limited competence, since full competence is only acquired with a large number of hours of practice and only in fields that are well known, but the student will have the necessary means to approach texts in this field with confidence. At the theoretical level, the aim will be to reinforce the students' knowledge of international law, which will be based on the knowledge of general law and Spanish law received in the degree. On a practical level, students will be expected to translate texts of great length and complexity, as well as to write academic papers related to the subject.
