This course provides an introduction to economic analysis from an international perspective. The main aim is to apply economic methodology to problems of competition or cooperation between countries.
It will not only provide theoretical economic foundations, but will also analyse real economic problems in the world economy.
In this sense, several case studies will be presented throughout the course, such as the analysis of financial crises, the impact of the international arena on domestic economic policy, or the consequences of the choice of an exchange rate regime.
