In order to pass the subject it is necessary to attend all the practice sessions and obtain at least a 5 in the distinct activities evaluated. If a student does not pass any of the parts with a 5, she or he will have the opportunity to retake it in the second period of exams in July presenting again the work corrected according to the instructions of the course lecturer. If a student cannot attend classes and follow the course activities regularly for some justified reason, s/he can do a final exam both at the end of the first semester or in July. The parts of that exam will be: 1) Two questions about certain contents of the course. (50%) 2) A commentary of a newspaper article using the concepts and methods discussed in classes (30%). 3) A quiz (20%)
If some of these parts are not passed in the first semester, the student may repeat them in July. If s/he does not sit the exam at all, the whole test will have to be repeated.
